- Description
This little West African aroid is rarely seen in UK houseplant collections. I imported it from the US last year. It reminds me of Ulearum donburnsii which is a little more well known. Like Ulearum, it's an African species with a tuberous growth habit. I love the silvery leaves that have this amazing round shape when younger. As they grow the lobes get longer but it does stay relatively compact. It would make a great addition to a terrarium. Perfect for unusual Aroid collectors.
- Growing conditions
The propagation is growing well in a propagation tent which sits around 20-24 ºC with humidity around 90% RH. The plant generally appreciates higher humidity. You should still be able to acclimatise down to household conditions once it's established. But be aware it may give you some funky leaves as it gets used to its new conditions.
- Quality assurance
All plants come with a plant passport or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label. Where necessary plants have been acclimatised after import for at least a month and only listed when they have new growth.
