  • Description

I bought these from NSE Tropicals last year and after a rough import they're finally looking purdy. Enid from NSE believes this to be an undescribed species that she's called Lavender Berries for obvious reasons (see the last two photos to see the mother plants). The leaves look very similar to A. Wendlingeri but slightly more upright at the crown and of course with a very different inflorescence. I would love to be able to grow my pendants as well as she does but she's in Florida and I'm in a flat in the north west of the UK so maybe it's ok to give myself a little break.

  • Growing conditions

The seedlings are currently in a propagation tent which sits around 20-24 ?C with humidity around 90% RH. Click here to read my blog on how I grow from seed. The parent plants grow well in household conditions and I would expect the seedlings to be easily acclimatised to lower humidity once they've grown a little.

  • Quality assurance

All plants come with a plant passport or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label. Where necessary plants have been acclimatised after import for at least a month and only listed when they have new growth.
