Description
This is one of my favourite plants - see my mama in the last two photos. The new leaves remind me of a gorgeous burgundy leather handbag I used to have... And the flat sinus is just too good. To top it off, she's happily living in ambient conditions now (see below), although you can see the spots on the older leaves from when I moved her from the tent. The prop has already got the lovely sinus and is getting there on the colour. She's going to be a stunner, just like her mama.
Growing conditions
The propagation is growing well in a propagation tent which sits around 20-24 ºC with humidity around 90% RH. The mother is growing well in household conditions (for me that's around 18-24 ºC with humidity around 55-65% RH). I would advise you to keep the plant in higher humidity while it recovers from the journey and then you should be able to acclimatise to your household conditions.
Quality assurance
All plants come with a plant passport or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label. Where necessary plants have been acclimatised after import for at least a month and only listed when they have new growth.
