- Description
Stylochaeton is a little known genus of African Aroids, bearing a similarity to the more easily recognised South American Ulearum donburnsii. S. bogneri comes from Eastern Africa (Kenya and Tanzania) and is remarkably easy to grow. Like U. donburnsii, it stays relatively small and grows from a rhizome, appreciating a wider pot to ramble around. It gets a lovely blueish sheen as it matures and the silver spots develop. A must for Aroid collectors.
- Growing conditions
The propagation is growing well in a propagation tent which sits around 20-24 ?C with humidity around 90% RH. The plant generally appreciates higher humidity. You should still be able to acclimatise down to household conditions once it's established. But be aware it may give you some funky leaves as it gets used to its new conditions.
- Quality assurance
All plants come with a plant passport or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label. Where necessary plants have been acclimatised after import for at least a month and only listed when they have new growth.
