Anthurium papillilaminum RA6 x self by Rooted Rarities

If you asked me to name my favourite papillilaminum clone, my answer would change on a daily basis. But it would be RA6 a lot. I was dancing when Chris from Rooted Rarities offered me these selfs. In my experience pap selfs can to be weak: I often get more albo or variegated leaves that don't make it. These seedlings are super vigorous though; the seeds themselves were super chunky which is always a good sign. I can't wait to see how much variation there will be between the seedlings as they grow. I don't find selfs of a species to differ that much from the mother plant but they're still interesting to compare. 

I wrote the above when I was selling the seedlings as grower's choice. There hasn't been a lot of variation between the seedlings as they've grown. Of course they're all super velvet with a bit of variation in texture.
