- Description
I am so excited for this hybrid. It's a cross between one of my favourite forgetii (the one that my logo is based on so I call it Logo) and one of my favourite papillilaminum, Daniel (also known as EU clone). You can see the parent pics in the last photo. Pap x forgetii is often known as Velvet Mask and that's exactly what I want to see from this hybrid: the velvet of pap Daniel and the closed, round sinus of forgetii.
I've finally potted up these seedlings into their own pots and they're starting to show traits so I'm listing individually to allow you to select. They're still a little young to show a closed sinus but we're crossing our fingers for that classic Velvet Mask.
- Growing conditions
The seedlings are currently in a propagation tent which sits around 20-24 ºC with humidity around 90% RH. Click here to read my blog on how I grow from seed. The papillilaminum parent plant generally appreciates higher humidity so the seedlings may too. You should still be able to acclimatise down to household conditions once it's established. But be aware it may give you some funky leaves as it gets used to its new conditions.
- Quality assurance
All plants come with a plant passport or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label. Where necessary plants have been acclimatised after import for at least a month and only listed when they have new growth.
