Import broker service

I have a couple of different options if you'd like me to help you to import plants. 

I currently run a group import from the US every couple of months. I am also happy to help you to import individually from other countries if required.

Option 1: US brokering service (joining a group import)

What you pay:

I import the plant on your behalf for a flat import fee of £50 plus £25 per plant. This includes the US broker fees, export and UK domestic shipping and handling, import paperwork and inspection costs. You will also pay import VAT at 20% of the value you declare. You pay for the plant and shipping to the US broker.

The service:

I receive the plant(s) and ship straight out to you. You are taking the risk yourself and rehabbing the plant if needed. The US broker and I will take every care but it’s a tough process for plants and your plant might still die. Please bear this in mind. 

Option 2: US import full service

What you pay:

To be agreed on a case by case basis, but to give a rough estimation it will be the above fees plus around 30% the value of the plant(s) being imported.

The service:

You give me your wishlist and I’ll try to track down the plant(s), import them, rehab them (at the very least I will keep them until I start to see new growth and I’m as sure as I can be that they’re healthy) and then send to you. Unless otherwise agreed, you pay only when I ship to you. In this way you’re only paying for a healthy plant.

Option 3: individual import from other country
