- Description
These seedlings are my own cross of two different villenaorum plants so they are an f1 rather than a self (more details in the glossary).
These seedlings have grown up so beautifully since I first listed them as grower's choice. They already have the super thick leaves that are so particular to villenaorum and of course those white veins. I don't have many left and I've just potted them up to 7cm pots.
I'm updated the photos to show the beautiful leaves sizing up and to try to show the triangular petiole (second to last photo). That might be my favourite thing about this plant. I have a thing about petioles...
- Growing conditions
The seedlings are currently in a propagation tent which sits around 20-24 ºC with humidity around 90% RH. Click here to read my blog on how I grow from seed. The parent plants grow well in household conditions and I would expect the seedlings to be easily acclimatised to lower humidity once they've settled.
- Quality assurance
All plants come with a plant passport or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label. Where necessary plants have been acclimatised after import for at least a month and only listed when they have new growth.
