- Description
FTG is a crystallinum cultivar from Fairchild Tropcial Gardens and has the most incredible veining. This cross is by John Whittlesey and I know for both of us, the perfect plant from this cross will have the shape and vein structure of the FTG with some extra coloured veins from the Doc Block pollen parent. I'm looking forward to watching them grow to find out which parent they'll take after more.
I sold a few of these as very small seedlings and am letting go of a few more now they're starting to show some of their mature traits. I've selected these for the pretty pink veins. They're all beauties so far and I hope you'll share progress as I'd love to watch them grow.
- Growing conditions
The seedlings are currently in a propagation tent which sits around 20-24 ºC with humidity around 90% RH. Click here to read my blog on how I grow from seed. The parent plants generally appreciate higher humidity so the seedlings may too. You should still be able to acclimatise down to household conditions once it's established. But be aware it may give you some funky leaves as it gets used to its new conditions.
- Quality assurance
All plants come with a plant passport or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label. Where necessary plants have been acclimatised after import for at least a month and only listed when they have new growth.
