- Description
It's part forgetii. And it's part antolakii, also known as BVEP. Do we need more of a description than that? Other than to say that the hope will always be for as velvet as antolakii with a closed sinus. We're not going to know for a while which seedlings will show which traits but I can't wait to see how these grow out!
I sold a few of these as grower's choice when they were ickle but they're looking so good and so velvet now they've grown a little. It's still to early to tell if they'll close their sinuses (forgetii are shy about revealing their traits too early), but these are beautiful plants either way.
- Growing conditions
The seedlings are currently in a propagation tent which sits around 20-24 ºC with humidity around 90% RH. Click here to read my blog on how I grow from seed. Antolakii generally appreciates higher humidity so the seedlings may too. You should still be able to acclimatise down to household conditions once it's established. But be aware it may give you some funky leaves as it gets used to its new conditions.
- Quality assurance
All plants come with a plant passport or Northern Ireland Plant Health Label. Where necessary plants have been acclimatised after import for at least a month and only listed when they have new growth.
