_Anthurium Ace of Purple x (Zara x Michelle) by Burgal House Horticulture

I don't see Ace of Purple hybrids much in the UK yet but I love the hybrids that Connor from Burgal House Horticulture has made with them. These are all showing some lovely colours but with some variation between them which I always think is interesting to see. Then you can compare them with the siblings and try to get some more clues about the plants that went into making the parents (shown in the last photo). It's one big plant genetics detective game. 

This plant is a propagation from one of my holdbacks. I had an accident while repotting and lopped the top off (yes, I did swear). But it does give me the opportunity to share one more of these. This one has an incredibly dark leaf with dark red veins on the emergent. She's a stunner.
